Slayer, Manson & Bleeding Through Sound Advice Amphitheatre West Palm Beach
Thanks to a perfectly-timed call on my cellphone (thanks Jon!), security got distracted as they were patting me down and I was able to get my camera in FINALLY I could get some concert photos & videos. If you know me, you know I love doing that! By looking at the date on my last blog you can see it's been a while since I've been able to~even though I've been to a few concerts since then.
I got there in the middle of Bleeding Through, didn't actually get to SEE them, but I was able to listen & they sounded decent. I liked them at Ozzfest last year too.
I had a decent seat (and nooo I didn't sit)-about 10 rows behind the pit, but with the lighting & the fog, photography was almost impossible - I tried anyway
Slayer played before Manson (yeah, yeah, I know....but Slayer didn't care, so why should we?) They did an excellent full set including & not in order: Cult:
South Of Heaven:
Mandatory Suicide:
Hell Awaits Flesh Storm War Ensemble Chemical Warfare Threshold Disciple Payback Jihad Seasons In The Abyss Raining Blood Angel Of Death Ghosts of War (thanks to Mike for the setlist)
Then Manson was up... To be honest, other than a few older songs, I hadn't been big a fan of his. My husband is and was supposed to go to the show - but had to work that night I walked around and talked with friends during part of his set (I even went to the lawn-never was actually there during a concert before!). Then I headed back to my seat to get whatever videos I could. The big surprise was I really enjoyed it! I ended up with a bunch of videos and some decent pictures. Better than Slayer's because of the lighting. I don't remember every song he did, but I got these videos:
Dope Show:
Rock Is Dead:
Putting Holes In Happiness: (new song-I REALLY like this one)
Fight Song:
Love Song:
Beautiful People:
some of the other ones he did that I can remember: Sweet Dreams Disposable Teens Mob Scene
I'm sure there's a bunch more....
All in all a good night-worth the drive, worth the $$ ~ just wish my husband could have been there to enjoy it too
If I have taken photos or videos of you at concerts, you can find them
